Never give up. Enjoy each day to its fullest.

From birth, Kinsley suffered from heart and health problems. In her 5 years of life, she endured a tremendous amount of pain and medical procedures that most adults never have to face. Despite this hardship, Kinsley never complained. Rather, she blessed those that encountered her with a prevailing spirit of perseverance, hope, and happiness. Her smile was contagious as was the love in her heart for life.

Perhaps, the biggest lessons that Kinsley has taught us through her life is to never give up and to appreciate and enjoy each day to its fullest.

When Kinsley left this earth to be with her Heavenly Father, her parents, Mark and Ila Cox, asked that a fund be set up to honor their daughter and help other families with sick children. Through this special Memorial Fund, Kinsley’s legacy lives on in the lives of all the children and families that she has touched.

Leave your mark by helping others.

Dedicating her life to Jesus Christ as a young child, Ila’s strong faith and sincere love for her family and friends are a beautiful example for us all. An insightful encourager and good listener, those around her benefited from her love for life and contagious positive spirit.

Diagnosed with colon cancer in 2013, after experiencing flu-like symptoms, Ila never felt sorry for herself and continued fully devoting her time to family and others around her. Ila encouraged her husband Mark and daughter Jamie to spend extra time together, and created sentimental notebooks for each of them. She also started the Grateful Gathering at their church, providing one week of meals to needy families every year leading up to Thanksgiving.

Through the pain and fatigue, Ila remained strong and positive. She was extremely brave, talked about the future, and planned her funeral. Ila joined her daughter Kinsley in Heaven on October 25, 2014. The two have now also been joined on earth through the Ila & Kinsley Cox Living Memorial Fund.
